5 Places to Get the Kids in the Christmas Spirit

One of our favorite times of the year, Christmas, is just around the corner. It’s the season of family, friends, and fun, with parents everywhere looking for ways to get their kids — and sometimes, themselves — into the Christmas spirit. Luckily, Bonnie & Clyde’s has you covered! We have put together a list of our favorite Christmas activities, gifts, and decorations for you to enjoy with your kids this year.

Slide into Ice-Skating Rinks

One of our top things to do during the holiday season is to take the kids to an ice-skating rink. Not only is it a lot of fun for them, but it gets them into the Christmas spirit as well. If you’re looking for a fun and festive activity to do with your family this year, be sure to check out your local ice-skating rink.

Visit Interlochen Lights for the Christmas Spirit

Christmas is coming soon and one of our favorite things to do is go look at all the lights. There are so many incredible light displays to enjoy with your kids. One of our favorite places to go look at Christmas lights is at the Lake Interlochen community. Miles of the community are covered by twinkling Christmas decorations, and they have this special light display every year!

Are you in North Richland Hills and want to try your hand at some epic holiday lights and decorations this season? Enter the North Richland Hills Christmas Lighting Contest! With decorations and supplies from Bonnie & Clyde’s, you can make the season bright with your kids this year.

Check Out David Archuleta’s “The More the Merrier” Christmas Tour

As part of his “The More the Merrier” Christmas tour, former teen sensation David Archuleta will be performing at the Arlington Music Hall on December 20th. With two Christmas albums under his belt, and likely more to come, we’re sure you’ll have a great time singing along with the kids. And what can be more Christmas-spirit inducing than a little holiday sing along?

Watch the Arlington Holiday Lights Parade

On your way to the Downtown Arlington parade on December 10th, stop in for a little shopping at the Bonnie & Clyde’s Christmas Store to get into the holiday spirit! Grab your Christmas coupon for some special savings on gifts and decor. We are open until 5:00 pm on Saturday, with plenty of time left for you to head over to Arlington for the evening parade.

The Annual Holiday Lights Parade will be taking place and there will be plenty of fun activities for the whole family: music, food, vendors, and reindeer games. And the best part for kids to enjoy includes appearances by Santa and his elves. The evening will conclude with a dazzling light display and the ceremonial tree lighting. Be sure to come out and join in on all the festive fun!
