How Do I Clean My Above Ground Pool with a Manual Pool Vacuum

At Bonnie & Clyde’s, all of our above ground pools come with a high-quality sand filtration system. The correct size filtration system combined with proper water chemistry makes pool upkeep easy.

Your above ground pool will still need to be vacuumed weekly or whenever leaves and other debris enter your pool. All of our pools also come with a pole, vacuum head, vacuum hose, skimmer net, and backwash hose.

To clean your pool manually, first use the skimmer net to remove leaves, bugs, and any other large debris. Then brush the sides of the pool and water line. 

Next, attach the vacuum hose to the vacuum head and then to the pole. Fill the hose with water and, while it is submerged, attach it to the pool’s skimmer. Insert the vacuum head into the pool and vacuum slowly until you have cleaned the entire pool floor.
